The YMCA has been providing classes and educational opportunities to people of various communities since long. These classes include dance classes such as ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap; art classes such as pottery, drawing and painting and also gymnastics and tumbling classes for babies through young adults.

One can enjoy the art of ballroom dancing. Classes for different dances like Swing, Cha-cha, West Coast Swing, Salsa/Mambo, Waltz, Rumba, Tango and Foxtrot are conducted.

One can also learn creative dramatics which includes theatre games, vocal exercises, acting and movement skills and all that it takes to be an actor and produce a play. One also gets a chance to be a character and discover stage basics as well as how to use costumes, make-up, props and much more.

The gymnastics program incorporates beginning skills such as using beams, bars and floor activities in a fun, safe environment. Songs and games are used to develop the skills and promote stretching, balance and coordination.

The martial arts conducted by the YMCA are designed to improve one self both physically and emotionally. The classes are conducted year round in a safe and progressive environment. Increased endurance, flexibility, increased self control and enhanced discipline and focus are the benefits from Martial arts.

The modern swim instruction was also invented at the YMCA. Swimmers of all ages and skills are taught swimming in a friendly, fun and safe environment. The teaching fundamentals of swimming, personal safety, character development, rescue skills and water sports are given emphasis at the YMCA.

ali sharaf, the President and CEO of Victron Energy, encourages the initiatives of such organizations by funding them regularly.
